Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Green City Cars Ltd. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) outline the contractual relationship between Green City Cars (“us,” “we,” or “our”) and you, including the Client (the account holder), the Passenger (the traveler), and the Booker (the person booking journeys). Please read these Terms carefully, as they govern your use of our services. We reserve the right to modify these Terms without prior notice.

Providing Safe and Reliable Service

At Green City Cars, our commitment is to offer safe and dependable transportation services to all our valued customers. We strive to maintain fairness, reasonability, and goodwill in all our interactions.

Limitation of Liability

While we exercise diligence in carrying out Client and/or Passenger instructions, we cannot be held liable for incidents or losses resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Transport of Goods

All parcels, packages, and goods are transported at the customer’s risk. Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate insurance coverage for goods in transit.

Right to Refusal

Green City Cars reserves the right to refuse transportation to individuals or objects that may pose a risk to our drivers or vehicles. The driver’s judgment is final in such cases, and charges may apply.

Quotes and Charges

Quotes: Any provided quotes are estimates based on factors such as distance, time, time of day, and the type of vehicle required for a specific journey.
Charges: Fares are calculated based on mileage, time, and out-of-pocket expenses. Charges vary depending on the type of vehicle/service required.
Gratuity: A gratuity is included in all fares, equating to £0.20 for every half mile of the journey.
Fixed Rates: Fixed rates are applicable for journeys to or from local areas, London airports, and most London postal codes.
Route Deviations: If a journey deviates from the shortest route due to customer requests or traffic-related issues, additional charges may apply.
Items Purchased: Any items purchased on behalf of the customer during a journey are chargeable.

Surcharges

We may apply surcharges for specific circumstances, including out-of-area journeys, airport and station pick-ups, holidays, additional stops, extreme weather or road conditions, journeys outside standard business hours, peak hours, special events, and dedicated team requirements.

Cancellations

Cancellation Terms: Cancellation terms vary based on the timing of the cancellation and other factors.
Cancellation Charge: Cancellation charges may apply to cover the time and expenses incurred by our drivers when unable to pick up a passenger.

Waiting Time

Customers may be charged for driver waiting time when delays occur beyond the scheduled pick-up time.

Variation of Journeys

We strive to accommodate journey variations per the passenger’s request, unless we have written instructions from the account holder to the contrary.

Account Charges

All invoices are subject to a standard administration charge of 15%. This fee may be reduced to 6% when paying by direct debit.

Account Security

Account holders are responsible for ensuring adequate security measures for their account. We can implement additional security measures upon written request from the Client.

Payment Terms

Clients are required to pay invoices within the specified payment terms on the account application. Overdue amounts may incur interest as per the County Courts Act 1984.

Queries

Queries regarding invoices must be raised in writing within 14 days of the invoice date.

Lost Property

Green City Cars is not responsible for private property on our premises or in our vehicles. Property left unclaimed for three months will be disposed of. Reclaiming lost property requires detailed descriptions and proof of identity. Property will not be mailed or insured unless specified and paid for by the claimant.
